The Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF) is an official international French-language diploma awarded by France’s Ministry of National Education. Valid for life, it is recognized in more than 170 countries as a proof of French proficiency. In Yukon, the DELF exam is open to students in Grades 12, enrolled in the French Second Language program, and completing or have completed their final French course.
L’Association franco-yukonnaise offers DELF for levels A2 (elementary), B1 (pre-intermediate) and B2 (intermediate.).
The exam tests the ability to use French in real-life situations. It assesses four skills through two exams: collective exam (listening, reading, writing); and individual exam (speaking).
This year, an online program will be offered to prepare for the DELF. We really encourage your child to enroll and take advantage of this unique platform. The information will be emailed once the registration is complete.
